Opening Date Confirmed For Loaf’s Latest And Largest Showroom

Loaf has confirmed that its latest and largest new “Shack” will be opening its doors on Thursday 9th February 2023 in Edinburgh – the first Loaf showroom to open in Scotland!

The Brit-brand’s ninth Shack will be opening in Peel L&P’s Straiton Retail Park and will be its largest showroom to date. This open-plan 9,100 sq ft site will pay homage to life in the slow lane (it’s a slowroom, not a showroom!) and house Loaf’s signature sofas, beds, handmade furniture and latest laid-back wares.

As well as having plenty of space to try-out Loaf’s famously squidgy sofas and chairs, a mezzanine will house a mattress testing area, in addition to 800 sq. ft dedicated to smaller Loafing Supplies (including mugs, candles and hot water bottles) which customers can purchase and take away on the day. The brand-new Straiton Retail Park will also have colouring stations and arcade games for for little (and not-so-little) Loafers to enjoy. According to Loaf, their Straiton store will be a haven for kicking back and relaxing.

Loaf’s founder, Charlie Marshall, says: “It’s high time people in Scotland had a bit of Loaf on their doorstep so they can kick their shoes off in style.
